Make a Difference! Move Your Money!
Are you considering a New Year's resolution? Perhaps you want to work out a bit more (yep, that's me) or eat better (me too) or procrastinate less (wow, lots to do!)....how about making a difference? Standing up to the big bad banks? The ones that took TARP money and then paid out big bonuses? Does that make you so angry?
Well, you CAN do something about it! MOVE YOUR MONEY!
This video uses It's a Wonderful Life to show what the big banks did! And, supports moving your account from a big bank and putting it in a local community bank. And, I have no complaint with that, though as a HUGE credit union supporter, I personally recommend you move it to a local credit union!
If you move your money from a big bank to a credit union, you can make a difference! Because, with a credit union----there are no stockholders, no 'owners' to take big bonuses and profits, because a credit union is different!
With a credit union, YOU ARE THE OWNER! The profits go back to YOU, the accountholder! REALLY! I'm not joking, it is true! A credit union is a financial cooperative. In business for the sole purpose of providing services to their accountholders, the members and owners of the credit union!
So, when looking forward to 2010...consider pulling your money out of the big banks and moving it to a credit union.
